The book Sweetbrier Spring by Brenda Wilbee is in a series of books about the early history of Seattle Washington.
It says a William Young came from Vancouver B. C. to
Seattle in late Feb of  1852. He was looking for trees to log & ship to market. This William Young was killed by Indians on March 1, 1852 near Seattle.
