14 Mar 1960 Mrs. William Bradley, formerly Clara Dowd of Eardley Township, Luskville P.O. celebrated her 90th birthday on Thursday, February 25 at the home of her son, Wesley Bradley, with whom she makes her home. A family dinner party was held at the noon hour, when Mr. Bradley's three children were all present; they are Mrs. Henry Mulligan of Beechgrove, Wesley of Luskville, and Freeman of Beechgrove; Mrs. Kenneth Draper who is one of the nine children, was also among the guests; and of 16 rgandchildren [sic], three were present, Jimmie, Diana, and Sheila Draper. Following the dinner pictures were taken of the four generations, including Mrs. William Bradley, Mrs. Henry Mulligan, Mrs. Kenneth Draper, and Jimmie Draper.

      During the afternoon and evening, Mrs. Bradley's children held open house in her honour; many friends and neighbours called to express their good wishes to Mrs. Bradley, and have a cup of tea with her, and a piece of her Birthday cake which was the gift of her children. Mrs. Bradley also was the recipient of many gifts, flowers, and numerous cards of greeting.

       Mrs. Bradley is in very good health, with good hearing, very good eyesight, and a good memory of things that happened nearly a century ago, and she loves to talk of those good old days.
