What is
the purpose of the online discussion forums?
The forums
let potential customers direct questions to professional genealogists. The
intent is that these questions be very specific and can be
answered in a few sentences. Do not ask open ended questions like "Who are my
ancestors?". Do not expect the professional to do research to answer the
question. An appropriate question would be;
- Where do I get access to 1891 Northumberland
census information?
Do not ask as question that requires research
like;
- What does the 1891 census show for my
ancestor John Smith?
How are
the forums organized?

genealogy categories. The category title is an underlined hyperlink. If you
click on the title hyperlink, you will be presented with all of the topics of
the category. The topic title is an underlined hyperlink that you click to get
to see the actual messages.

How will
I know about new messages on the forums?
Ensure that
you subscribe to each forum category that interests you. By subscribing to a
category, an email message will automatically be sent to you each time a new
message is posted. Each forum category has a
Subscribe Cat link. Click on that link to subscribe to that
forum category.
When I
registered, I set my username (nick name) to 'Dont have one'. How do I login?
Type in 'Dont
have one' as your Username and then type your password.

Before you
can post a message, you must register a username (nick name) and password and
then login. You can login using the Login button in the upper right corner of the screen. Once you
